I am a scholar, writer, copyeditor, and translator. I am currently a PhD student at Yale University in Comparative Literature and Film & Media Studies. In broad terms, my research is concerned with the transcultural history of mining and concepts of value, a set of questions I take up the mode of literary cultural history and media studies. I am also a practiced native-language copyeditor and translator and have worked with scholars, artists, and organizations on texts for publication in peer-review journals, public venues, and museum catalogues. My working languages are English, German, and Spanish.
